IT之家 10 月 3 日消息，当地时间 9 月 30 日，据外媒 BMW Blog 报道，宝马传闻已久的入门级电动汽车终于得以确认。新车预计命名为宝马 i1，将于 2028 年面向欧洲推出，并成为宝马售价最低的新世代车型。
据知情人士透露，新车内部代号“NB0”，将使用五门掀背车造型。宝马预计会以 i1 的名称推出新车，与燃油版宝马 1 系并行销售，不过两者并非同一平台的衍生车型。i1 将使用纯电专用平台，并重新使用宝马入门级车型曾经坚持的后驱布局。
按照当下掌握的信息，i1 有望像前两代宝马 1 系一样使用后轮驱动。入门版 i1 将使用后驱，高配车型则不排除用上 xDrive 双电机四驱平台的可能。
宝马预计会把 i1 安排在纯电 MINI Cooper 与宝马 iX1、iX2 之间。另外，MINI 将来也有望使用宝马新世代工艺，并推出后驱车型。
i1 推出后，燃油版宝马 1 系不会马上退出市面。据称，现款 F70 代 1 系五门掀背车将生产至本世纪 30 年代初，或于 2032 年下半年停产。若时间表准确，F70 在生命周期内预计还会经历一次中期改款或其他调整。
据悉，一款紧凑型纯电四门轿跑也在开发中。新车内部代号“NB8”，计划在 2030 年前后推出，可以看作 i1 的轿车版。届时，i1 与 i2 之间的关系将类似当下宝马 1 系与 2 系四门轿跑车，均使用新世代纯电平台。

IT Home, October 3 news — local time September 30, according to foreign media BMW Blog, BMW's long-rumoured entry-level electric vehicle has finally been confirmed. The new car is expected to be named the BMW i1, will launch in Europe in 2028, and become BMW's lowest-priced next-generation model.
According to people familiar with the matter, the car's internal codename is 'NB0' and it will use a five-door hatchback body style. BMW expects to launch the car under the i1 name, selling it alongside the combustion-engined BMW 1 Series, though the two are not derivatives of the same platform. The i1 will use a pure-electric dedicated platform and revert to the rear-wheel-drive layout that BMW's entry-level models once insisted on.
Based on current information, the i1 is expected to use rear-wheel drive like the first two generations of the BMW 1 Series. The entry i1 will be rear-wheel drive, while higher-trim models may use the xDrive dual-motor four-wheel-drive platform.
BMW plans to position the i1 between the all-electric MINI Cooper and the BMW iX1 and iX2. MINI is also expected to adopt BMW's next-generation technology in future and launch rear-wheel drive models.
After the i1 launches, the combustion-engined BMW 1 Series will not immediately leave the market. The current F70-generation 1 Series five-door hatchback is said to be produced into the early 2030s, or discontinued in the second half of 2032. If that timeline holds, the F70 is expected to go through one facelift or other adjustment during its lifecycle.
It is also understood that a compact all-electric four-door coupe is in development. The car's internal codename is 'NB8', planned for around 2030, and can be seen as the sedan version of the i1. At that point the relationship between i1 and i2 will be similar to today's BMW 1 Series and 2 Series four-door coupe, both using the next-generation pure-electric platform.
IT Home learned from the report that BMW has previously stated clearly that the i1 will be sold mainly in the European market.
