Thanks to IT Home readers Autumn_Dream and DangNian Mingyue for the tips!
IT Home, October 3 news — at the Huawei Mate 90 series and all-scenario new product launch event on October 1, the Huawei Ruiying Z10 modular camera was officially released, using the HyperClick super mount design, priced at 5,999 yuan (the Collector's Edition bundle is 19,499 yuan).
Some netizens bought the Huawei Ruiying Z10 modular camera right away and specifically got a 62mm filter for it. But they found that although the Ruiying Z10 modular camera's lens cover is marked 62mm, it actually isn't compatible. They suggest holding off on filters until Huawei's official filter accessories arrive.
In response, Li Xiaolong, CTO of Huawei's Terminal BG, commented:
The lens cover is indeed 62mm, but using a standard 62mm filter would obstruct the red maple camera and cause a colour shift, so the lens barrel was deliberately made in a shape incompatible with standard 62mm filters. If you want to use filters, you can first use this adapter ring to convert to 77mm and then mount a 77mm filter.
As IT Home reported earlier, the Huawei Ruiying Z10 modular camera is a fully self-developed Huawei product matching the HyperClick super mount, using a 1-inch 50MP sensor plus a 6-group 16-element optical lens to achieve 10x continuous optical zoom (24mm-240mm F2.0-4.5), and can work with a phone for image computation and storage.
