IT之家 announced on October 1 that Huawei Terminal has partnered with China Eastern Airlines to establish an aerial Wi-Fi ecosystem, introducing the first-ever platform-level in-flight connectivity experience.
All Huawei smartphones upgraded to the HarmonyOS 7.0 platform will be compatible with China Eastern's aerial Wi-Fi platform for one-click quick connection. This feature does not require downloading a separate app or jumping to a portal page.
Additionally, Huawei flagship device users will enjoy tiered exclusive benefits when purchasing, including one year of aerial Wi-Fi service. Specifically, Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max, and the Collector's Edition are eligible for a one-year high-speed service entitlement (Note: Redeemable via the "My Huawei" app's new device benefits page, then redirecting to the China Eastern yuan service); Mate 90 RS Nonpareil and Mate XT2 Nonpareil are entitled to a one-year ultra-high-speed service.
Regarding connection operation, users should turn on flight mode after takeoff, then go to phone settings to search and connect to the "CEAIR-WiFi" network. Wait for the platform to automatically pop up and enter the authentication page, then click "HarmonyOS Yuan Service Fast Authentication."
If no popup appears automatically, users can access the service through a browser at www.muflyer.com. Once the China Eastern yuan service opens, click "Connect Now." The service will automatically close upon successful authentication, leading to the internet success page.
