To prevent forgetting things, people have created an AI sticky note.
As a result, there is one more thing to remember:
Charging the sticky note.
I often see it online: a small square that can be placed on a desk or stuck to a refrigerator door.
Connect it to the network, hold the button and say "Meeting at 3 PM tomorrow", and it will remember for you and remind you at the time.

The small screen directly lists the to-do items.
This is a complete upgrade of the sticky note, evolving directly into the cyber age.
Many people have bought it!
According to Investment World, the first batch of AI sticky notes from Quirky Lab in January, 4000 units at 199 yuan each, sold out quickly.
The currently sold NOTE4 on the official website is priced at 259 yuan.

Note: The initial sales volume and current price of Quirky AI sticky notes belong to different batches and do not represent the same round of sales.
A piece of paper costs only a few cents, while an electronic square costs over 200 yuan.
Moreover, the phone itself has a free built-in memo.
Where does this money go?
The phone remembers, but I don't.
I take my phone to note that materials need to be submitted on Friday, but I first get three messages and see a video.
Before I recover, I've forgotten what I took the phone for...
The biggest enemy of memos is the phone that holds them.
AI sticky notes compress this process: press the button, say it, and the task is displayed.
Placed next to the computer, a glance while working reminds you.

Placed next to the computer, the to-do list is always in sight.
Stuck on the refrigerator, you can see it while looking for food.
I completely understand why people pay this money.
After all, it's hard not to scroll through the phone when you want to write something down.
However, if you have to copy all the tasks from your phone every day, the attraction diminishes.
White-collar workers already have weekly reports, no need to submit another copy to the refrigerator.
Information must be accessible and editable for a small screen to be used long-term.
So, I must connect it to my three "interns": CodeX, Claude, and WorkBuddy!

Stuck on the fridge, you can check it anytime.
Charging once every three months, is that possible?
If it really lasts three months, I wouldn't find it troublesome.
Placed next to the computer, plugging it in occasionally wouldn't affect my feelings.
But the "up to three months" on Quirky's official website has a condition: static standby, with only one synchronization per day.
Using voice recording and internet updates frequently would significantly reduce battery life...
The e-paper screen itself can hold an image without continuous illumination, but recording, connecting, and updating still consume power.
Since it mostly stays quiet displaying information, can we use ambient light to recharge it? - AI sticky notes, why not try solar power?
Perovskite components are small black blocks that convert light to electricity, ideal for consumer electronics.
On a sticky note, we could have a light-collection area on the frame to store energy when there is light and release it when needed.

Concept of perovskite components combined with an e-paper screen: black area collects light to charge.

Press the button when I think of something, continue working, and it will call me at the appropriate time.
I don't expect to chat about life with it, just to update my daily to-do list and progress.
This usage pattern — occasional recording and updates, otherwise static — is perfect for perovskite solar charging.
I made a concept video combining LightSense Technology's perovskite components with an e-paper screen.
This is just an idea, not a verified charge-free product yet.
The actual number of charges saved depends on the component size, placement lighting, and daily usage frequency.
If sunlight replenishes energy faster than the device consumes it, that would be perfect. Otherwise, if I have to put it in the sun to charge, forget it.
I buy a reminder tool, I don't want to charge it, and I certainly don't want to "walk" it...
My sincere wish: hardware developers, please add a perovskite component! Partner with LightSense!
Make "charge-free" the strongest selling point for the next generation!
I really don't want to add "charge the AI sticky note" to my todo list...
There are already too many things at home that need charging!!!
Make "charge-free" the strongest selling point for the next generation model!
I don't want to add "charge the AI sticky note" to my to-do list...
There are already enough things to charge at home!
